Kingston based artist Denise Colgan grew up in a large family spending weekends camping and at the family cottage. A love for the outdoors and everything green would leave a lasting impact on her later works. After completing post secondary studies in Art and Graphic Design at both the University of Guelph and Humber College, Denise spent several years working as a graphic designer before shifting her focus back to fine art. While working in a variety of mediums, her current focus is on oil paints and portraits.
